Japanese-Speaking Junior-Senior Sales Representative

About the role

HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting a Japanese-Speaking Junior-Senior Sales Representative for a permanent role in Brisbane, Queensland. It is an entry-level wholesale sales position that can grow into a broader role, offering experience in wholesale, sales and administration. Candidates who speak Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean are preferred, and graduate visa holders with a driver's licence are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers
• Promote and sell the company's range of Japanese food products
• Visit clients and retail outlets to identify selling opportunities and give sample presentations
• Prospect and generate new business in the food service and retail sectors
• Quote prices and credit terms, record orders and arrange deliveries
• Process orders, manage client accounts and ensure timely deliveries
• Deliver goods to clients when needed and support on-site sales activities (light weight)
• Meet sales targets and report regularly and accurately to the Sales Manager
• Keep up to date on the company's and competitors' products, market activity and conditions
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions and client meetings as required, and perform other sales and customer service duties as assigned

Required profile

• Any work experience in a company, Australian or overseas
• A valid Queensland driver's licence
• Sales experience is not necessary for the Junior role
• Permanent residents and citizens are ideal; candidates with at least 2 years of unrestricted work rights, such as the Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485), are welcome

Required skills

• Japanese language preferred, or Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean
• Wholesale sales and customer relationship management

What we offer

• Salary of $65,000 - $95,000 per annum
