Territory Manager - Surgical Ophthalmology Medical Devices

About the role

A top international medical device and equipment company, represented in more than 25 countries and active in five therapeutic areas, is looking for a Territory Manager for its Brisbane South territory. The role covers sales of a Surgical Ophthalmology product portfolio from the Gold Coast down to Ballina, with the aim of achieving annual revenue targets. The recruiter is PPD Search JA.

Key responsibilities

• Manage achievement of annual revenue goals for sales of the Brisbane South territory, including the Gold Coast down to Ballina, and support the Surgical Ophthalmology product portfolio.
• Provide prospective customers with accurate information and sensible solutions, and prepare quotations.
• Manage and account for assigned inventory and enter all sales activities into a CRM system, while checking customer payment status with accounts.
• Coordinate shipment deliveries with customers and deliver in-service training to each customer and user of the products.
• Inform customers about service and maintenance program availability and provide ongoing application support and first-level technical assistance.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Medical device sales experience in a similar role, including surgical case support; ophthalmology experience is a distinct advantage.
• Valid driver's licence in Queensland and full Australian working rights.

Required skills

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
• Negotiation and diplomacy skills, with the ability to deliver corporate-level presentations.
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
