IT Support Technician - Hospitality Technology

About the role

Aspire Digital Group, an AI-first company behind hospitality platforms Zinga, Alby Marketplace and Goldroom, is looking for a hands-on IT Support Technician in Albany, WA. This is a mobile, multi-venue role, not a desk job, where you manage live technology infrastructure, troubleshoot on the spot and help roll out the group's proprietary hospitality platforms. The position is casual with the view to becoming full-time for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate onsite support for POS systems, EFTPOS terminals, printers, Wi-Fi, CCTV and networking infrastructure.
• Be the subject-matter expert for the proprietary platforms Zinga, Alby, ZngX and related hospitality software.
• Manage digital signage, advertising displays and audio-visual systems including Goldroom content and hardware.
• Take part in testing and improving products, lead installation and commissioning of technology packages, and run demos and staff training.
• Work with the Operations team to maintain a Facilities Management and Plants & Equipment database in Odoo, manage the Odoo ticketing system and generate monthly reports on equipment failures and maintenance trends.
• Engage with venue owners and managers, liaise with vendors and contractors, and support onboarding of new external clients.

Required profile

• At least 2 years' experience in an IT support, systems technician or similar hands-on role.
• Ability to multitask across several organisations, venues or clients at once.
• Comfortable and active user of AI tools such as Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT in daily work.
• Experience with POS systems, EFTPOS terminals, networking and AV systems.
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle, as travel between venues is required.
• Based in Albany, WA or willing to relocate; current police check or willingness to obtain one.

Required skills

• POS, EFTPOS, Wi-Fi/LAN networking and AV systems
• Familiarity with Odoo or similar ERP/ticketing platforms is highly regarded
• Strong troubleshooting and clear communication with non-technical staff
