IT Support Specialist

About the role

Lincoln Electric is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide advanced technical assistance to internal users in its Malaga location. You will be responsible for maintaining hardware, software, and network services to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and other peripherals.
• Deploy, troubleshoot and update software applications and operating systems.
• Manage software licensing and compliance.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, password resets and provisioning/de‑provisioning.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems.
• Escalate complex incidents to higher‑level IT teams when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum two years of experience supporting desktop systems and handling incident ownership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with users of varying technical backgrounds.
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service with a patient, friendly demeanor.
