IT Support Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, customer‑focused IT Support Officer to keep our organization’s technology running smoothly. You will assist users with hardware, software, network and system issues while delivering high‑quality service and contributing to continuous improvement of IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for hardware, software and network incidents.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve IT tickets promptly.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other equipment.
• Support operating systems, business applications, email and productivity suites.
• Manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions in line with security policies.
• Monitor systems, perform routine maintenance, updates and equipment inspections.
• Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding by preparing devices and accounts.
• Support network connectivity, Wi‑Fi, VPN and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and document procedures in the ticketing system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work both independently and in a team.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with technology trends.

Required skills

• Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and wireless networking concepts.
• Help‑desk ticketing systems and IT service management practices.
• Basic endpoint security and cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with cloud services and hardware configuration.
