IT Support Engineer – Sydney

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Support Engineer to join our Sydney office, providing high-quality technical assistance to local staff and remote support to our Melbourne and Asia-Pacific locations. The role combines hands-on desktop support, participation in technology rollouts, system upgrades and regional IT projects in a fast-paced investment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, white-glove IT support to employees in the Sydney office and remote users in Melbourne and APAC.
• Provide hands-on desktop troubleshooting, hardware and software configuration, and device management.
• Assist with technology rollouts, system upgrades and other IT initiatives across the region.
• Collaborate closely with global IT teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Support senior executives and business stakeholders with professional and confidential assistance.

Required profile

• Full-time candidate willing to start on a six-month probationary period.
• Strong technical background in end-user technology and enterprise IT environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality service in a global investment firm.
