IT Asset & End‑User Support Specialist – Hardware & Device Management

About the role

HCLTech is looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented IT Asset & End‑User Support Specialist to manage device provisioning, lifecycle tracking, and end‑user support across the organisation. You will ensure smooth onboarding, maintain accurate hardware inventory, and resolve technical issues while collaborating with cross‑functional IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain detailed logs of provisioning activities and support tickets.
• Generate reports on hardware utilisation, support metrics and compliance.
• Assist users with onboarding and device setup.
• Track hardware usage and performance throughout its lifecycle.
• Manage device returns, replacements and disposal in line with company policies.
• Provide guidance on hardware usage and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to device performance, connectivity and compatibility.
• Collaborate with other IT teams for escalations and complex issue resolution.
• Prepare and configure devices to organisational standards before deployment.
