Irrigation Maintainer

About the role

The City of Rockingham is hiring two permanent, full-time (average 38 hours per week) Irrigation Maintainers in its Asset Services team covering engineering, parks and gardens and trades/service. The role sits within the dedicated Irrigation team and involves maintaining the City's irrigation assets so they operate efficiently and meet high standards. Required profile

• Certificate III in Irrigation Technology or equivalent, and experience in a similar field
• Substantial irrigation experience
• Self-motivated, able to work in a team or independently under direction
• Able to prioritise work and manage own time
• Sound written and interpersonal skills
• Able to work in line with workplace health and safety obligations and safely operate and maintain plant and equipment
• Experience dealing with the public in a positive way
• Current 'C' class driver's licence
