iOS Vulnerability Researcher

About the role

Interrupt Labs is seeking an experienced iOS Vulnerability Researcher to join its remote security team. You will work on uncovering and analysing security flaws across Apple platforms, using both static and dynamic techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research vulnerabilities in iOS, macOS, and related Apple components.
• Develop proof‑of‑concept exploits and demonstrate impact.
• Utilise and extend fuzzing frameworks, LLM‑assisted analysis, and custom in‑house tooling.
• Reverse engineer ARM64 binaries with tools such as IDA, Binary Ninja, and Frida.
• Document findings clearly and present them to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Participate in internal and external training, conferences, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Strong background in vulnerability research, offensive security, or reverse engineering on Apple platforms.
• Passion for learning new technologies and tackling complex security challenges.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Programming in Python and Rust.
• Proficiency with low‑level languages such as C, C++, Swift, and Objective‑C.
• Experience debugging and hacking low‑level code.
• Reverse engineering ARM64 binaries using IDA, Binary Ninja, Frida, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with fuzzing techniques and toolchains.
