Investor Relations & Communications Manager

About the role

The company is an ASX‑listed gold and copper explorer seeking an Investor Relations & Communications Manager to own the IR function and work directly with the Chairman, Managing Director and Board. The role offers autonomy, accountability and the chance to grow with the business.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for shareholders, brokers, analysts and prospective investors.
• Build and maintain a database of high‑net‑worth, family office and institutional investors.
• Track peer companies, capital raisings and share‑register movements to provide market intelligence.
• Coordinate investor meetings and calls for the executive team.
• Draft and format ASX announcements, quarterly reports and investor presentations.
• Maintain consistent messaging across the website, decks, social channels and announcements.
• Support media releases with senior leadership and prepare Board and AGM materials.
• Provide peer benchmarking and attend investor conferences across Australia.

Required profile

• 3–8+ years experience in investor relations, capital markets, equity research, corporate advisory or corporate communications.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to draft professional investor materials.
• Discreet, comfortable handling board‑level and market‑sensitive information.
• Self‑directed and proactive in identifying and executing next steps.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, business, commerce, communications or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Familiarity with ASX Listing Rules and continuous disclosure requirements.
• Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with AI‑assisted research, CRM and prospecting platforms.
