About the role

The Royal Melbourne Hospital is seeking passionate, qualified Mental Health Nurses to join the John Cade inpatient unit. This full‑time or part‑time position offers the chance to make a lasting impact on patients and families while working in a world‑class, trauma‑informed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a culturally safe manner.
• Interact respectfully with consumers, families, carers and supporters.
• Provide trauma‑informed, recovery‑focused care using strengths‑based interventions.
• Utilise digital technology to support clinical documentation and communication.

Required profile

• Experience working collaboratively in an inpatient mental health setting.
• Recognised mental health nursing qualification.
• Eligibility for AHPRA registration and an Australian working visa.
• Strong clinical skills in mental health nursing.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal abilities.
