Internal Salesperson - Bearings Distribution

About the role

Motion, Australia's leading distributor of bearings and power transmission products, is hiring an Internal Salesperson in Wagga Wagga. The role is centred on internal sales and customer service, acting as the main point of contact for customers so their needs are handled promptly, professionally and efficiently. It involves a rotating Saturday roster, typically 1-3 Saturdays per month depending on staffing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by phone, email and in person
• Process customer orders, quotes and inquiries accurately
• Support the external sales team with detailed quotes and account coordination
• Build and maintain customer relationships and provide tailored solutions
• Assist with inventory management, including stock control and replenishment
• Perform regular manual handling, including picking and packing, lifting items up to 15kg

Required profile

• Previous experience in internal sales or customer service highly regarded
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a Saturday roster (essential)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate computer literacy with Microsoft Office; a forklift licence is desirable but not essential
• Australian citizen or permanent resident visa holder
