Internal Sales – Electrical Wholesaler

About the role

An electrical wholesaler based in the northern suburbs of Adelaide is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Internal Sales Person to join its team. The role reports to the Branch Manager and covers product knowledge, inventory control, administration, customer service, showroom warehouse work, merchandising, quality systems, WHS and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Record customer information and compile orders accurately for collection and delivery.
• Maintain inventory control and the upkeep of all plant and equipment.
• Ensure goods received are placed in stock on the same day.
• Provide strong customer service and excellent merchandising standards.
• Handle sales, including cold calling, and maintain professional phone manner.
• Work within quality systems and WHS requirements.

Required profile

• Ability to identify solutions and a collaborative approach to all aspects of business.
• Strong customer service focus and team player.
• Electrical industry knowledge is an advantage.

Required skills

• Very good computer literacy.
• Ability to cold call.
• Stock control and order processing.
