Sales Manager - Domestic and Global Wine

About the role

A well-established Australian wine producer, headquartered in South Australia, is recruiting a senior Sales Manager to drive new business development and revenue growth across Australia and international markets. The business is shifting from a historically bulk-led model toward higher-margin branded and export growth, with export being a key growth priority alongside domestic opportunities. The role is highly autonomous and suits someone who thrives in a front-of-market, relationship-led sales environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business development and revenue growth domestically and internationally, with export as a key priority
• Work closely with the commercial and winemaking leadership team
• Open doors and leverage established networks to convert opportunities across bulk and branded wine channels
• Travel regularly, including to global trade shows and customer meetings
• Build long-term relationships with new customers and strengthen existing ones

Required profile

• Proven experience in wine sales, export sales and national business management
• Strong existing relationships across international wine markets (essential)
• Background in bulk wine, branded wine or a combination of both
• Demonstrated success in new business development and revenue generation
• Experience dealing with major domestic customers such as national retailers is highly regarded
• Willingness to travel internationally and represent the business at trade and wine shows

The role can be based at the South Australian head office; candidates based in Melbourne are also considered, with flexible working arrangements and regular visits to head office. The position is permanent with a competitive salary.
