Internal Sales & Contracts Administrator – 4‑Month Fixed Term

About the role

This Melbourne‑based, 4‑month fixed‑term position supports national sales and contracts administration for Rotork, managing customer enquiries, orders, quotations and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and respond swiftly to queries.
• Prepare sales quotations, technical proposals and pre‑qualification documents.
• Review RFQs, generate quotations and maintain accurate quotation records.
• Coordinate purchase orders with factories, monitor delivery dates and expedite where needed.
• Liaise with internal teams (Contracts, Production Planning, Engineering, Accounts, Shipping) to ensure order fulfilment.

Required profile

• Commercial awareness or background in customer service.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal departments.
• Attention to detail, high data‑entry accuracy and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in a contractual environment and understanding of contract implications.

Required skills

• Experience using ERP systems.
• Understanding of engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of the valve industry and material pricing.
