Internal Communications Specialist

About the role

Join Marsh Pacific as an Internal Communications Specialist to shape and deliver clear, engaging communications across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. You will work closely with business leaders to inform, engage and connect colleagues with regional and enterprise priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Support and execute the Pacific internal communications strategy, creating content for intranet, emails, videos, social media, town halls, presentations and webinars.
• Coordinate multiple projects, maintain timelines and follow‑up actions, and support internal events such as town halls, recognition activities and employee‑engagement initiatives.
• Track and measure communication effectiveness, providing insights to improve future messaging.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure communications are clear, consistent and aligned with brand and style guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience in corporate or internal communications, marketing, journalism or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and channels.
• Demonstrated project coordination abilities and stakeholder management experience.
• Based in Melbourne or Sydney and able to work in the office at least three days per week.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Experience using SharePoint, email delivery platforms and internal social media tools.
