Internal Communications Lead – Sydney

About the role

Lockton Pacific is looking for a strategic storyteller to lead internal communications across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will shape the employee experience, reinforce culture and support change initiatives through compelling content.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute internal communication strategies that align with business and cultural objectives.
• Create and manage content for email, digital signage, intranet, employee experience platforms and leadership messages.
• Support change‑management programmes with clear, empathetic messaging.
• Lead the migration of the Lockton Pacific intranet to a global platform, ensuring consistency with global standards.
• Collaborate with Marketing, HR and senior leaders to identify and meet communication needs.
• Drive associate engagement and nurture a strong internal culture.
• Assist with media relations and external communications as required.
• Use data and analytics to measure impact and continuously improve communications.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in internal communications or employee engagement.
• Excellent storytelling, writing and editorial abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strategic thinker with a collaborative, empathetic approach.
• Experience delivering change communications and executive messaging.
