Inside Sales Representative - Fans

About the role

Big Ass Fans designs, manufactures and sells fans used in new construction, airports, shopping centres, industrial warehouses and restaurants. Its Inside Sales Representative specifies the product for the new construction and reseller markets, providing airflow solutions to new construction influencers and improving the client experience. This is a phone sales position with no cold calling required.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong knowledge of all product ranges
• Answer inbound and outbound calls, emails, webchats and other enquiries
• Respond to and qualify sales leads in the contractor lead queue
• Use a solutions-based approach, listening to and answering client questions
• Record client details and conversation notes in the CRM
• Create, review and send sales proposals to specifiers, wholesalers and contractors
• Liaise with the OSR team if a facility-specific visit is requested
• Follow up on open opportunities to build an accurate sales pipeline
• Negotiate and close orders, collecting payment by credit card, bank remittance, purchase order or signed quote
• Solicit client referrals and maintain database integrity to minimise sales errors

Required profile

• Previous experience in a successful sales role
• Previous experience in a call centre environment
• Self-starter with a hunter mentality
• Strong organisational and time-management skills

Required skills

• CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
• Exceptional computer literacy
• Basic knowledge of business-to-business sales
