Key Account Manager, End Customer

About the role

Axis Communications is looking for a Key Account Manager, End Customer, based in Brisbane with a requirement to travel. You will manage long-term relationships with large account customers, deepen the Axis relationship through strategic account management, and help build a team around the end customers while coordinating resources and communication between sales, business development, marketing and technical assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with established key-focused accounts and seek new business opportunities
• Maintain long-term partnerships with focused and development accounts
• Develop clear business plans for end-customer accounts or another portfolio, aligned with business strategy
• Set annual targets for each account and follow up on KPIs
• Take part in trade shows, seminars, webinars and other promotional sales activities
• Prepare reports for new and key-focused accounts
• Manage and maintain end-customer documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent
• Significant experience in a similar sales position or achieving sales targets
• Strategic thinker with strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Experience building lasting relationships with consultants and segment customers (desirable)
• Proactive, self-motivated team player with good organisational skills and negotiation skills

Required skills

• Good knowledge of IT networking, IP-based technologies and applications (desirable)
• Good knowledge of Salesforce (desirable)
• Experience with hardware and/or software products (desirable)
