Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist

About the role

Avery Dennison, a global materials science and digital identification solutions company, is looking for an Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist for its growing team in Silverwater. This hybrid role makes you the main point of contact for customers, combining proactive sales outreach with excellent customer service and accurate order management.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs, explain product offerings and help them make informed purchasing decisions.
• Pursue new sales through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls or emails, and qualify leads before routing big opportunities to Outside Sales Representatives.
• Prepare and present accurate price quotes and product availability, and upsell or cross-sell to existing customers.
• Handle customer inquiries by phone, email and live chat, resolve issues and complaints, process returns and credits, and give basic product guidance.
• Enter customer orders accurately into the ERP/CRM system, check pricing, discounts, shipping and billing details, and track order status with production, warehouse and logistics teams.
• Maintain customer profiles, interaction logs and sales pipeline data in the CRM.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in sales or marketing is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, customer service or a related administrative role; B2B manufacturing or IT experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication and a professional phone presence.
• Quick, accurate data entry and excellent organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.
