Initiative Lead – Digital Delivery (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Initiative Lead will join ANZ’s Digital Enablement team to drive delivery of complex, cross‑functional initiatives that support the ANZ 2030 strategy. Working from the Docklands office, you will coordinate technology and non‑technology teams to ensure timely, high‑quality outcomes for customers and the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring projects are on time, within scope and budget.
• Manage risks and issues, providing proactive mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and synchronize cross‑functional teams across technology, business and operations.
• Produce data‑led reports on delivery status for senior stakeholders, acting on lead and lag indicators.
• Oversee technical, business and operational readiness activities.
• Contribute to the Digital Enablement community, modelling ANZ values and supporting cultural adoption of the Digital Delivery model.
• Lead delivery of the flagship ANZ 2030 program “Single Customer Front End”.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and managing complex projects or initiatives, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
• Strong project‑management expertise, including familiarity with project‑management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities focused on delivering results.
• Leadership capability in agile delivery, stakeholder engagement, risk management and continuous improvement.
