Infrastructure Maintainer – Mine Site

About the role

An experienced Infrastructure Maintainer is needed to join the Maintenance team at Rolleston Open Cut, a large thermal coal mine in Central Queensland. Reporting to the Infrastructure Supervisor, you will carry out hands‑on maintenance and project work to keep mine infrastructure operating safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Complete scheduled maintenance activities and routine inspections to meet compliance requirements.
• Follow weekly work plans and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform hands‑on tasks related to infrastructure maintenance and project work on the mine site.
• Maintain productive relationships with other mine disciplines and support a high‑performance safety culture.

Required profile

• Relevant trade qualification and previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an open‑cut coal mine.
• Strong safety mindset with the ability to positively influence site culture.
• Problem‑solving ability and teamwork orientation.
• Experience using SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
