Information Security Analyst

About the role

As an Information Security Analyst at NGS Super, you will protect systems, data and technology platforms from evolving cyber threats. Reporting to the Head of Information Security, you will work closely with technology teams and external partners to support day‑to‑day security operations and strengthen the overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure and continuously improve technical security controls across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) focusing on identity, network, workload and data security.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code and AI/ML systems, including secure API design.
• Develop and tune detection use cases in SIEM/XDR and cloud‑native tools, emphasizing automation and signal quality.
• Investigate, triage and contain incidents across cloud, endpoint and application layers using threat intelligence and forensic techniques.
• Automate repetitive security tasks with scripts, pipelines and APIs (e.g., Python).
• Conduct deep‑dive technical security reviews of cloud architectures, applications and third‑party integrations, recommending pragmatic remediation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS).
• Familiarity with information security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, DLP, encryption and endpoint security.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code and AI/ML security considerations.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, APIs).
