HVAC/Refrigeration Technician – Cherry Creek

About the role

Ventia is seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join the Cherry Creek Justice Precinct team. You will deliver preventative, reactive and corrective maintenance across a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration assets in a secure government environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive, corrective and preventative maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration and control systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults, conduct inspections, testing and condition assessments.
• Maintain and repair VRV systems, ventilation systems and refrigeration equipment.
• Complete work orders, service reports and compliance records accurately and on time.
• Prepare job safety documentation, raise remedial works and material requirements, and provide quotations for additional work.
• Respond to urgent breakdowns, critical asset failures and collaborate with maintenance teams and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence (RAC01).
• Restricted Electrical Workers Licence or Disconnect/Reconnect Licence.
• Valid Victorian driver licence.
• Ability to obtain National Police Check, Working with Children Check, site security clearances and medical assessment.
