HVAC Service Technician QLD

About the role

Crest, a well-known brand in the air conditioning industry that designs, supplies, installs, services and maintains commercial, industrial and residential air conditioning equipment, is hiring an enthusiastic, trade-qualified HVAC Service Technician for its Queensland team based at the North Lakes office. Reporting to the QLD Manager, the technician delivers high-quality HVAC services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver preventative maintenance, fault finding, problem solving and repair of HVAC systems
• Commission various types of air conditioning systems
• Quote on and follow up additional and new work
• Install commercial HVAC ducting systems across a variety of projects
• Install pipework and fittings such as refrigerant, VRF, multi-systems, heat assemblies and heat recovery
• Install drainage systems, flexible duct work and fittings and other associated HVAC components
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and ensure correct measurements are taken
• Mentor apprentices when onsite
• Complete and submit paperwork and reporting, and maintain WHS compliance on every job

Required profile

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
• ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
• QBCC Mechanical Service – Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Occupational Licence
• Valid QLD driver's licence
• Construction / White Card
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently
