Humanities Coordinator

About the role

The Humanities Coordinator provides expert leadership in curriculum, teaching and learning for junior and senior studies at St Francis Xavier College, a large 7‑12 Catholic secondary school in Canberra.

Key responsibilities

• Provide staff and student support and advice in teaching and learning, fostering a valued learning environment.
• Lead curriculum development and implementation using best practice research, evidence and innovation.
• Report to the Assistant Principal Curriculum and Innovation and the Principal to realise the College’s vision and mission.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
• Accreditation in accordance with Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education policy.
