Human Resources Specialist – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

We are looking for a People Specialist to support our Australia & New Zealand operations. You will act as a trusted business partner, delivering end‑to‑end HR services and helping to shape a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with local leadership on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, employee relations and organisational development.
• Implement and monitor global People initiatives and policies at the local level.
• Provide labour‑law guidance and coordinate with external advisors as needed.
• Run web‑based recruiting campaigns for roles across sales, finance, marketing and technology.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on day‑to‑day HR matters.
• Coordinate with the global People Team to ensure consistency and share best practices.
• Oversee monthly labour costs and manage payroll through ADP.
• Assist with local compensation & benefits forecasting and budgeting.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of HR experience with a blend of operational and business‑partnering duties.
• University degree with strong academic performance.
• Experience in a matrix organisation; international exposure is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence diverse stakeholders.
• People‑focused attitude, strong team spirit and project‑management capability.
• Solid understanding of HR processes and labour‑law fundamentals in Australia and New Zealand.
