HR Operations Administrator

About the role

Brenntag is looking for an experienced HR Operations Administrator to join its ANZ HR team. Reporting to the ANZ HR Manager, you will support payroll, HR operations, employee lifecycle processes and Workday administration across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the relationship with outsourced payroll provider BIPO, reviewing inputs, reconciliations and exception reports.
• Ensure accurate, timely and compliant payroll processing and resolve payroll queries.
• Oversee onboarding, employment changes, leave administration and off‑boarding, including contract preparation and employee communications.
• Support annual remuneration and bonus review processes and act as a key contact for HR/payroll enquiries.
• Maintain employee data in Workday, conduct data audits, support system enhancements and produce HR reports and workforce insights.

Required profile

• Experience in HR Operations, payroll or shared services, preferably managing outsourced payroll in Australia or New Zealand.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance, HR administration and stakeholder management.
• Hands‑on experience with Workday and advanced Excel skills.
