HR Manager – Perth HCS/BHP

About the role

Alstom is looking for an experienced HR Manager to support the Perth BHP and High Capacity Signalling projects. The role is permanent, based across two Perth offices, and reports to the HR Business Partner for DIS.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers to provide proactive, value‑added HR input aligned with business needs.
• Support managers in applying HR policies, processes and programmes.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategy and governance.
• Deliver HR initiatives, training on HR processes, and manage expatriate immigration and settling‑in.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data and guide mobility teams.
• Monitor performance management cycles, merit increases and development plans.
• Manage employment contracts, benefits and ensure HR activities stay within budget.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management.
• Proven HR experience in engineering or construction project environments.
• Generalist HR management covering all HR practice areas.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence within a matrix organisation.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of labour, social and employment legislation.
