HR Business Partner – Renewable Energy (Australia)

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner for Australia will lead the full employee lifecycle across the country, supporting the development, construction and operation of renewable energy projects such as wind farms, solar parks and battery storage systems. Reporting to the Australia Management Team, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping to build organisational capability, attract top talent and ensure the workforce is ready for the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a People Strategy aligned with business objectives and project phases.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify workforce needs, conduct workforce forecasting and succession planning.
• Manage end‑to‑end talent acquisition, build talent pipelines and oversee onboarding.
• Lead remuneration reviews, salary benchmarking and ensure internal equity and compliance.
• Coach leaders on performance management, employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.
• Design and deliver leadership development programmes and culture initiatives.
• Oversee learning and organisational development activities, including annual training plans.
• Ensure payroll governance, HR compliance and employee‑relations matters are handled in line with Australian legislation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role within a multi‑site or international environment.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience in workforce planning, talent acquisition, remuneration and leadership development.
