HR Business Partner – Day Shift (Manufacturing)

About the role

Australian Country Choice is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to work on the day shift, supporting its integrated cattle and beef supply chain operations. The role is hands‑on, partnering with operational leaders and employees to deliver practical HR solutions in a fast‑paced, blue‑collar environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, practical HR advice to managers and staff across assigned business units.
• Manage employee‑relations matters including grievances, investigations, disciplinary actions and performance management.
• Coach leaders on performance conversations, documentation and people‑leadership challenges.
• Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and internal policies.
• Support the employee lifecycle – onboarding, role changes, workforce planning and off‑boarding.
• Maintain accurate HR documentation, records, reporting and HRIS data.
• Assist with organisational change initiatives such as restructures, workforce adjustments and role redesigns.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to drive employee engagement, retention, wellbeing and continuous improvement.
• Promote ACC values and behaviours in all HR activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years HR experience in manufacturing, processing, industrial or other blue‑collar environments.
• Strong knowledge of employee‑relations, industrial‑relations and Australian employment legislation.
• Excellent communication, coaching, conflict‑resolution and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work 6.30 am – 2 pm, Monday‑Friday, covering day‑shift operations.
• Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail and sound judgement.
