About the role
Join Sedgwick’s Colleague Resources team as an HR Advisor supporting employees and leaders across Australia and New Zealand. This full‑time permanent position offers hybrid working and the chance to develop generalist HR expertise within a global organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide timely, practical HR advice to employees and managers across Australia and New Zealand.
- Manage HR enquiries via ServiceNow, ensuring high‑quality customer service and issue resolution.
- Support the employee lifecycle – onboarding, probation, performance matters, off‑boarding and contract administration.
- Prepare employment contracts, variations and HR documentation in line with policies and legislation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
- Partner with managers on policy interpretation, employee relations and workplace concerns, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Contribute to HR projects, compliance activities, reporting and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in an HR Advisor, Coordinator, Officer or similar role.
- Proactive, organised, solutions‑focused with strong attention to detail.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
- Experience supporting employees and managers across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of HR administration, employment legislation and best practice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
Required skills
- Workday (HR system) – preferred.
- ServiceNow (HR service desk) – preferred.
