Housekeeping All-Rounder (Casual)

About the role

Pullman Cairns International, a luxury hotel in Cairns, North Queensland, is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeping All-Rounder on a casual basis. This is a hands-on role helping maintain high standards of presentation across guest rooms, public areas and laundry operations, with a minimum 6-month commitment.

Key responsibilities

• Servicing guest rooms and suites so they are clean, comfortable and presented to Pullman standards.
• Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of public areas throughout the hotel.
• Supporting laundry operations, including sorting, washing, folding and distributing linen.
• Restocking guest amenities, linen and housekeeping supplies.
• Reporting maintenance issues, lost property and guest-related concerns.
• Working with the Housekeeping team and other hotel departments to support smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently while remaining a supportive team member.
• Reliability, flexibility and willingness to help across different areas of housekeeping.
• Physical capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including mornings, weekends and public holidays.
• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is highly regarded, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are welcomed.
