Housekeeper

About the role

Veriu Group, which operates Punthill Apartment Hotels and Veriu Hotels & Suites across Australia, is hiring a Housekeeper for its Melbourne property. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will join a small team dedicated to creating lasting memories and exceptional experiences for guests. The hotel has a gym, onsite parking and conference facilities, is five minutes' walk from Sunshine Train station and offers free street parking.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain common areas to brand standards
• Clean guest rooms during stay and departure to a high standard
• Ensure the efficiency and quality of cleans meet hotel benchmarks
• Give feedback to the Housekeeping Manager or Hotel Manager on common area conditions, especially areas needing deep cleaning, repairs or replacement

Required profile

• Adaptable, enjoys variety and works with an ownership mindset in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, organisational skills and high standards of cleanliness
• Flexibility to work at least 3 shifts a week, primarily morning and day shifts
• Ability to work as a team and independently
• Approved Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or a visa with approved working rights)
