Housekeeper (Cleaner) - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health Wattle Glen, an aged-care home in a quiet, bushland setting between Wattle Glen and Hurstbridge stations, is looking for experienced Housekeepers (Cleaners) to join its team on a permanent part-time and casual basis. The work is described as busy and takes place during the week, with Week 1 on Wednesday and Week 2 on Tuesday and Wednesday, each shift from 09:00 to 17:00.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the home clean, hygienic and safe so residents can enjoy it every day.
• Deliver the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, improving the presentation of the home and the service it provides.
• Work alongside a team of aged-care professionals dedicated to enriching and celebrating the lives of residents.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail, since health and hygiene standards are critical.
• A strong commitment to Work, Health and Safety principles.
• A positive, warm, empathetic attitude and a can-do approach.
• Ability to implement and manage a hygiene maintenance system of auditing and site inspections to support operational excellence.
