Hotel Manager

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Sydney is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead its luxury property. The role involves overseeing all operational departments, driving employee engagement, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience in a high‑volume, high‑touch environment.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise Directors of Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Security while providing leadership across all operational areas.
• Drive employee engagement strategies and foster a positive culture for approximately 400 colleagues.
• Oversee guest experience quality, monitoring metrics such as Qualtrics, LQA and Coyle results.
• Review and evolve hotel products, services and procedures to maintain luxury standards.
• Manage financial performance, including expense control, profitability analysis and budget achievement.
• Assume General Manager duties in their absence and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with owners, suppliers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Extensive senior operational leadership experience in a luxury hotel or resort, covering both Rooms and Food & Beverage.
• Authentic, engaging, strategic leadership style with a focus on business priorities.
• Proven ability to mentor managers and drive professional growth.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and influencing abilities.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management and capital expenditure oversight.
