Hospitality Multiple Roles – Chef & Utility Positions in Kambalda

About the role

Civeo Australia is seeking enthusiastic hospitality professionals to join its Kambalda village team. Both full‑time and casual positions are available for chefs and all‑round utility staff, supporting the day‑to‑day needs of guests in a remote mining community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality food service as a chef or support kitchen operations.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain guest rooms and communal areas.
• Assist with retail and store responsibilities, including inventory and customer service.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality or a chef role.
• Unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Current RSA certificate and a valid driver’s licence.
• National Police Clearance issued within the last six months.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical assessment, including drug/alcohol screening.
• Flexibility to work day and/or night shifts in a fast‑paced environment.

• Full‑time utility salary from $87,527.33 AUD per year; casual $37.20 AUD per hour (+12% super).
• Full‑time chef salary from $104,424.19 AUD per year; casual $39.12 AUD per hour (+12% super).
