Hospital Pharmacist – Part‑time (7.5 hrs/week)

About the role

This permanent part‑time position (7.5 hours per week) is based at Slade Pharmacy within Mayo Private Hospital, NSW. It offers a fixed weekday shift, allowing you to gain hospital pharmacy experience while maintaining a predictable schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense and distribute medications accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct therapeutic drug monitoring and manage medication outcomes.
• Provide medication counselling and education to patients.
• Perform medication history interviews, reconciliation and pharmaceutical reviews at transfers of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
• Contribute to training and education for pharmacy, nursing, medical and allied health staff.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives such as audits and projects.

Required profile

• AHPRA‑registered pharmacist with unrestricted practice rights.
• Australian working rights valid for at least 12 months.
• Personal indemnity insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
