About the role

Join Mecca as a Holiday Retail Assistant (also called a Summer Host) to help our Victoria stores deliver an exceptional beauty experience during the busiest period of the year. This casual, fixed‑term role runs from late October 2026 through January 2027, supporting customers throughout the holiday season.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers on the shop floor, providing product knowledge and guidance.
• Connect shoppers with the appropriate in‑store specialist when needed.
• Maintain a safe, fun and efficient store environment while adapting to fluctuating foot traffic.
• Offer flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, extended trading hours and public holidays.

Required profile

• Passionate about beauty and eager to help customers look and feel their best.
• Highly flexible schedule to cover peak trading times, including public holidays.
• Strong knowledge of Mecca’s hero brands and products.
• Commitment to continuous learning and upholding Mecca’s values.
