HEMS Aircrew Officer (Residual) - Darwin

About the role

Toll Aviation, part of the Toll Group, is seeking expressions of interest for residual positions for residential Aircrew Officers (ACO) for its Top End Medical Retrieval Service (TEMRS) contract in Darwin, Northern Territory. The role is part of a specialist helicopter business providing safe, reliable, mission-critical aeromedical services to Northern Territory Government agencies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 500 hours of rotary-wing flight experience as a Winch Operator / Aircrew Officer.
• NVG endorsement with a minimum of 50 hours of ACO NVI.
• CASA Class 2 Aircrew Medical.
• Ability to complete the Toll Aviation ACO fitness test.
• Must be entitled to work in Australia and ready for pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
• Highly desirable: AW139 type endorsement, EMS/SAR experience on AW139, and HUET / EBS qualification.

Required skills

• Certificate IV in Aviation - Aircrew Officer (AVI40119) or Certificate IV in Airbourne Operations (AVI40225).
• Comprehensive winching, night and IFR ACO FLHS experience.
• Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate.
• Aviation Radio Operator License with Level 6 English proficiency.
• Excellent crew resource management and communication skills.
