Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic - FIFO from Perth

About the role

Worthy Engineering, a mining services repairer with over 70 employees in workshops in Henderson and Kalgoorlie, is looking for experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics to join its team on a FIFO basis from Perth, WA. You will be deployed to mine sites across Australia, working on heavy mobile equipment such as trucks, loaders, graders and dozers, covering breakdowns, scheduled servicing and major rebuilds.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on heavy mobile equipment
• Provide breakdown support and field service when required
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Follow all site safety policies and procedures
• Work with site supervisors and other trades

Required profile

• Trade qualification as Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (Australian recognised)
• Previous experience in mining or civil environments
• Current C Class driver's licence (HR advantageous)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
• Valid Australian working rights

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of CAT, Sandvik, Komatsu or similar OEM equipment
• Commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
