Heavy Commercial Driver (Townsville)

About the role

Cement Australia is looking for an experienced Heavy Commercial (HC) or Medium Commercial (MC) driver to join its team at the Townsville depot. The position is a day-shift roster running Monday to Friday, starting around 5:00 am, with 10-12 hour shifts and possible overtime to meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload cement, pneumatic tankers and ISO units and liaise with the Operations team on product delivery.
• Work 10-12 hour shifts; overtime may be required at times.
• Deliver all product safely and on time.
• Comply with all Cement Australia safety requirements.

Required profile

• Clean driving record.
• At least 1.5 years of HC or MC driving experience.
• Previous tanker experience highly desirable.
• Valid Basic Fatigue Management Accreditation, or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong safety and customer service focus.
