Health Trainer and Assessor (Casual)

About the role

Assist Ability Academy RTO is seeking a Health Trainer and Assessor to deliver and assess nationally recognised first‑aid and CPR training for our students. The position is casual with flexible shifts, including day, evening and weekend sessions, and may involve travel to off‑site locations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise training and assessment sessions, ensuring all resources and equipment are prepared.
• Deliver classroom and practical training for HLTAID009, HLTAID011, HLTAID012 and HLTAID014 units.
• Conduct assessments and provide feedback in line with the Educational Services (Post‑Secondary) Award.
• Provide tailored support to meet individual learner needs.
• Travel to client sites as required to deliver business‑to‑business training.

Required profile

• Current or recent experience delivering first‑aid, CPR or advanced first‑aid training.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to varying shift patterns.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to learner‑centred outcomes.
• Willingness to act as an industry expert on health systems for Individual Support subjects.

Required skills

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training and assessment.
• First Aid delivery and assessment.
• Advanced First Aid delivery and assessment.
