Head of SEO

About the role

As Head of SEO you will lead organic growth for iSelect and Compare the Market, shaping how millions of Australians discover, research and compare financial and household products. You will own the SEO and content strategy across both brands and drive visibility in traditional and AI‑driven search experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a high‑performing SEO team to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Own organic growth and content strategy across iSelect and Compare the Market.
• Drive traffic, visibility and quote starts across categories such as insurance, energy and personal finance.
• Optimise site performance, content architecture, user experience and technical SEO foundations.
• Lead experimentation across SEO, content and AI‑driven search.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, Brand, Creative and PR teams to embed organic growth in all launches.

Required profile

• Seasoned SEO leader with a proven record of delivering end‑to‑end organic growth programmes.
• Strong experience in content strategy and digital PR, especially in regulated industries.
• Hands‑on approach, able to move between strategy, execution and optimisation.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes.
