Head of Digital

About the role

Megaphone, one of Australia's most awarded digital marketing agencies and part of the global network Stellar, is seeking a Head of Digital. You will be a strategic leader who shapes the agency's digital vision, elevates its digital product and delivers measurable value for clients. You will build trusted partnerships with senior clients, act as a thought leader across the agency's global network and help define the future of digital marketing, in an agency embracing disruption with AI.

Key responsibilities

• Elevate the agency's digital product across media, content, data and technology, and drive the use of its proprietary AI tech stack (Pixis.ai and Prism) internally and with clients
• Act as a trusted senior advisor to key clients, anticipate future client needs, develop new propositions and support growth in existing accounts
• Deliver strategic guidance across digital channels and help teams turn client objectives into actionable digital strategies
• Present at industry events, publish POVs and champion knowledge sharing across the agency and global network
• Lead digital strategy on new business opportunities and work with business development and client leads on pitches
• Drive results in paid social, paid search, programmatic display and video, SEO, CRM and lifecycle marketing, influencer marketing, martech and data analytics

Required profile

• 6+ years in premium digital agency environments
• Proven experience scaling high-growth brands
• Strategic vision combined with hands-on execution
• Natural leadership that builds lasting client relationships
• Experience as a Head of Search, Social, Digital or Performance, or as a Search & Social, Performance, Account or Client Services Director, with a strong lean to digital and cross-channel strategy

• AI/automation experience in marketing (strongly preferred)
