About the role

Lead curriculum excellence at New Farm State School as Head of Department (Curriculum) in a temporary full‑time position until 11 December 2026. You will shape teaching and learning across the school, supporting staff to deliver engaging, evidence‑informed curriculum that improves outcomes for every student.

Key responsibilities

• Lead curriculum planning, implementation and review across the school.
• Build staff capability through instructional leadership, coaching and professional learning.
• Use evidence and data to guide curriculum improvement and monitor student outcomes.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to deliver whole‑school priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Experienced instructional leader with a track record of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Commitment to high expectations, inclusive practices and strong student outcomes.
• Ability to work in a high‑performing school community and support staff development.
• Mandatory qualifications/registration as outlined in the role description.
