Guest Service Officer (Overnight)

About the role

The Part‑Time Overnight Guest Services Officer welcomes and assists guests during overnight hours, delivering an exceptional guest experience from arrival through to departure. This role manages front desk operations throughout the night, supports late arrivals and early departures, and completes overnight operational procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests during overnight shifts, handling check‑in, check‑out, enquiries and special requests.
• Complete night audit procedures, guest account reconciliation and maintain accurate records.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, concerns and emergency situations.
• Monitor hotel activity throughout the night and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare reports and documentation required for the next day’s operational activities.

Required profile

• Exceptional communication skills and a natural ability to engage with guests.
• Ability to work independently and confidently during overnight operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially for financial and administrative tasks.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Previous experience in front‑desk, guest services, night audit or hotel operations.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
