Guest Service Agent

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Guest Service Agent to join the Oaks Geelong Vue Suites team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless stay from check‑in to check‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a friendly reception and efficient check‑in process, addressing guest inquiries and immediate needs.
• Maintain clear communication with guests, colleagues and stakeholders via in‑person, phone and email channels.
• Process reservations, updates and special requests accurately using the property management system.
• Act as the primary point of contact throughout the guest’s stay, offering assistance, resolving issues and giving personalised recommendations.
• Deliver exceptional service with a proactive and positive attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in delivering high‑quality service within a hotel, hospitality or customer‑facing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple mediums.
• Professional appearance and polished presentation reflecting organisational standards.
• Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, public holidays and varying shifts.
• Passion for creating positive guest experiences and resolving issues efficiently.
