Group Property Coordinator

About the role

Metcash is seeking a highly organised and detail‑focused Group Property Coordinator to support its Property team. The role involves streamlining workflows, managing documentation and ensuring that all property‑related processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day administration for the Property team, including onboarding/offboarding, IT, and communications.
• Manage lease administration with external providers, track workflows, resolve issues and drive service improvements.
• Maintain property records, lease information, landlord contacts and facilities management data across systems such as ProLease, myBuildings and LinkSafe.
• Handle property‑related financial administration – purchase orders, invoice processing, vendor creation and expenditure tracking.
• Prepare and distribute regular property reports, portfolio updates and performance metrics.
• Support the Group General Manager and Head of Property Management with diary coordination, meeting administration and presentation preparation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or team support role.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to create structure, improve processes and manage multiple priorities.
• Professional, reliable and trustworthy when handling confidential information.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
