Group Fitness Manager

About the role

Jindalee Fitness 24/7 is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Group Fitness Manager to take ownership of its group fitness program and help shape its future. The role suits someone who wants more than a title: there is budget, genuine autonomy and an incentive structure tied to results. The manager will build a program members love, develop a high-performing instructor team and contribute to the club's growth.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, coach and manage the performance of instructors and area leaders
• Oversee studio standards: presentation, safety and equipment maintenance
• Drive class attendance, retention and member satisfaction across all formats
• Manage the commercial performance of the group fitness program, including the budget
• Stay visible and hands-on on the floor; this is not a desk job

Required profile

• Proven leadership of instructor teams in a fitness environment
• Experience delivering group fitness in one or more formats such as Pilates, Yoga, Les Mills, Spin, Aqua or Functional Training
• Certificate III and First Aid and CPR (essential); Certificate IV preferred, other group fitness and business certifications welcomed

Required skills

• Scheduling and rostering, with comfort using attendance data
• Commercial awareness: running a budget and backing decisions with numbers
